20 May 12 – Between a Rock and a Green Place

I took this the other day out in front of a neighbor’s house while The Boy was wandering around outside.  I like the color and texture contrast between the large rock and the leafy plant.

19 May 12 – Bunch of Bleedin’ Hearts

Here are yet another bunch of gorgeous flowers that were out in style at the Azalea Tea in Rhode Island last weekend.

18 May 12 – Barrows

Here are some colorful wheelbarrows, all set to be put to work taking care of the animals at Davis Farmland.

17 May 12 – Closed

This little green door with the bench  caught my eye as both a neat looking door, and as a nice spot for some portraits, which we took later of the kids and their aunt.

16 May 12 – Sailing

This is the weather vane atop the barn/sugarhouse owned by my cousins in Rhode Island.  In the winter they make maple syrup here, and in the summer Norm’s other passion is sailing, hence the cool vane.  Here it was lit beautifully by the late afternoon sun on Saturday.

15 May 12 – All I Wanna Do

… is bicycle, Bicycle,  BICYCLE. I want to ride my bicycle, I want to ride my bike.

14 May 12 – Creepy Vines

Here is another shot from the Azalea Tea on Saturday.  It was a beautiful day, and as afternoon fell, the light in the garden is gorgeous.  I love mossy things, the texture of tree bark, and the creeping vines are the icing on the cake.

13 May 12 – Mother’s Day Bouquet

Here are some flowers for the Moms out there, most especially my wife, the beautiful mother of my wonderful children and for my mom.  I love you both!

12 May 12 – Have a Seat

Today was the annual Azalea Tea in Kingston, RI, and it was an absolutely beautiful day to be outside amongst the gorgeous flowers.  If so inclined, one could have sat here and just enjoyed the ambiance of the  Garden.  It was very peaceful.

11 May 12 – Pump Rock

A water spigot and a rock.  What more do you want?
